In the following, we will also inform you about the third-party components that we use to provide and optimize our website and improve the user experience, and which can lead to third-party providers also processing the data they collect and control.
Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies, the deletion does not conflict with any legal retention requirements or nothing else arises below.

Our website includes services from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. Your personal data can be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that no data protection level comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you submit a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods). In the latter case, the deletion takes place after these reasons no longer apply.
Hosting
We use the web hosting service Amazon Web Services (AWS). Among other things, we use AWS as CDN. A CDN helps to provide the content of our online offer, in particular files such as graphics or scripts, more quickly with the help of regionally or internationally distributed servers. When you access this content, you establish a connection to the servers of Amazon Web Services, Inc., whereby your IP address and possibly browser data such as your user agent are transmitted. This data is processed exclusively for the purposes mentioned above and to maintain the security and functionality of AWS.
The data processing is carried out by: Amazon.com Inc., 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle WA 98109, USA. The service provides the technical infrastructure so that we can offer our services: web servers, databases, etc.
The legal basis for this is an interest in a safe and efficient provision as well as the optimization of our online offer according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. The specific storage duration of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by Amazon Web Services, Inc. Further details and information on the specific data protection provisions of Amazon Web Services can be found at the following link: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/
